Addition to DapTechnology's Executive Management Board

DapTechnology B.V. announced that its board of shareholders has appointed Jeroen de Zoeten as Chief Technology Officer effective January 1, 2019. As CTO, Jeroen de Zoeten succeeds Cor Jansen, who had held this corporate position for many years.

"For several years Jeroen de Zoeten has been a key member of DapTechnology’s management team and has been instrumental in running our R&D team. He has also shown exceptional enthusiasm as well as ability to lead not only his department but provide strategic vision and corporate leadership. I feel more than confident that Jeroen will be a great addition for DapTechnology’s executive board. I’m thrilled that he has taken on this appointment and – together with the other executive members – he will lead the company’s success during the years to come”, says Jan de Vries, owner and CFO of DapTechnology B.V.

Dap’s CEO Michael Vonbank adds: “I am excited about this addition to DapTechnology’s leadership board. Jeroen has been a delight to work with during the past years and we welcome his innovative spirit, his drive and determination. Jeroen will be responsible for all technical and product related aspects within DapTechnology and his experiences gained within the organization are a great background for this new position. And he is also very much recognized by our customers and partners for his technological knowledge and vision paired with forward and out-of-the-box thinking.”

Jeroen de Zoeten joined DapTechnology in 2004 and worked as Software Engineering Manager under Cor Jansen, DapTechnology’s former CTO. “It was Cor’s mentoring that paved the way for my carrier at DapTechnology. I learned so much from him and still admire his bold and daring approach back in 1998 with the development of the original FireSpy. He has left an indelible legacy for the company and myself.” When Cor decided to step down in 2013, Jeroen was appointed Director of Engineering. And now, 6 years later, has made the step to CTO.
