IEEE-1394 Cables and AS5643 Harnesses

DapTechnology provides three different types of cable/harness categories:

Standard IEEE-1394 cables

Standard IEEE-1394 cables are available standalone, part of the individual product packages (i.e. FireSpy, ...) or an optional accessory for the Interface Solutions cards.

COTS off-board Harnesses

This type of COTS harnesses is available on its own, as part of the individual product package (i.e. FireSpys), or as an optional accessory for the Interface Solutions cards.

Custom Cables and Harnesses

The custom cables are entirely built to the specification provided by the customer. They often are built in combination with a specific Repeater or Media Converter configuration and offer a wide choice of cable media, cable types and connectors. The pin-out can follow the AS5643 standard or can be assigned entirely as requested by the customer's own choice.
