DAPDesign Expands International Executive Team
Phoenix, AZ (21 September, 2004) – DAPDesign, a leading provider for IEEE1394 (Firewire, iLink) Test and Measurement equipment, has expanded its international operations by appointing industry veteran Dr. Michael Vonbank as Business Development Executive for the United States and Canada.
Responding to increasing customer interest in its technology, Netherlands-based DAPDesign augmented its international team with a seasoned IEEE1394 expert to more closely serve its expanding North American customer base and strategic partners.

Industry expert joins International Team
DAPDesign's new Business Development Executive, Dr. Michael Vonbank, is a ten-year veteran in IEEE 1394 technology and a respected expert in data and protocol analysis for high-speed serial buses. His most recent responsibilities were Engineering Manager and Product Manager with Absolute Analysis. Prior to Absolute Analysis, he was R&D Manager with Yokogawa and Chief Technologist with 3A International. Dr. Vonbank was always directly involved in Sales Support activities, Customer Support as well as new technology research. He earned a Masters of Science degree in Physics from the Technische Universität in Vienna, Austria and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching/Munich, Germany.
Dr. Vonbank will focus his attention on technical product representation, customer requirements assessment and analysis, strategic partner and client development, as well as new business analysis associated with the company's current and future product line.
