 Standard FunctionsFunction OverviewAll FireSpys® have one thing in common: they all share the same set of analysis modules and if you know how to work them on one model then they are super simple to understand for the others. The differences are small and deal only with the multiple bus analysis capability.
All FireSp®y models, starting from the FireSpy® 800, include a set of standard functions:
- Monitor
- Recorder
- Generator
- Commander
- Scriptor
They form the basis for all FireSpy® functions and only differ in how many channels are supported. Besides that they are identical throughout the product line. Unique is also the support for AS5643 (Mil1394) at the HW layer which allows super precise timing, latency free protocol encapsulation and protocol level analysis/testing.
